Right to a GP
People who are ordinarily resident in the
UK, including people from other EEA
countries and abroad, have the right to be
registered with a GP. A person can choose
which GP s/he wants to be registered with,
but a child under 16 has no right to choose
her/his own GP. However, the GP does not
have to accept a person and, if s/he decides
not to do so, does not have to give a
reason. |
