Joint waiting lists
In some areas the local authority may
operate a joint register with local
registered social landlords, such as housing
associations. This enables the applicant to
register with the council, and with housing
associations in the area, on a single form.
If there is no joint waiting list, a person
who wants to be considered for housing
association accommodation may only be able
to do so if s/he is nominated by the local
authority. |
