If a person is a victim of a violent relationship, s/he will need immediate practical advice on the options available to her/him.

There are a number of options that may be available to a person who is the victim of domestic violence:-

attempting to stop the violence and staying with the perpetrator of the violence

leaving home temporarily

leaving home permanently

staying in the present home and getting the perpetrator of the violence to leave

taking legal action.
